this motor came out of a 1995 740i

I sold all the parts... but left a few pics here to view the damage from a broken valve...

delivery day of the 1995 4.0 liter

had to get those heads off and see the damage done... this is a Nikasil block... I checked for a ridge on each cylinder and they were smooth... the cross hatch pattern was very visible

I have named the above photograph... "the broken valve blues"
