I JUST HAD THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFTS REBUILT... I PULLED THEM AS THE PASSENGER SIDE HAD A BLOWN BOOT... I ALSO REPLACED THE PASSENGER SIDE LOWER BALL JOINT... NO ENGINE OR DRIVE TRAIN LEAKS!
GEAR VENDORS OVERDRIVE ... AND I BELIEVE THE REST OF THE DRIVE TRAIN IS STOCK... 5.7 L (350) MOTOR AND TH400 TRANS... I HAVE NOT CHECKED THE REAR END, BUT CAN TAKE PICS OF ANYTHING FOR THE SERIOUS BIDDERS... SHE PUFFS THE OIL LEAKED THROUGH THE VALVE SEALS ON START... I HAVE NOT EVER HAD ANY ENGINE CHECKS DONE ON THE 140,000 MILE ENGINE AND SHE RUNS STRONG AND STARTS AND RUNS GOOD AS A DAILY DRIVER ... THE GEAR VENDORS OVERDRIVE IS XLNT FOR CRUISING ON THE HIGHWAY AND SHE KICKS IN AT 45 MPH AND KICKS DOWN AT AROUND 5MPH... THERE ARE RED AND GREEN LIGHTS AND A ROCKER SWITCH ON THE DASH... RED LIGHT FOR OFF... GREEN FOR OVERDRIVE... THERE IS ALSO A FOOTSWICH TO OVERIDE THE GEAR VENDORS UNIT FOR SHORT RUNS AROUND TOWN AND IT IS LOCATED WHERE THE OLD STYLE HIGH BEAM SWITCHES USED TO BE... THE PREVIOUS OWNER REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD... ALTERNATOR ... STARTER AND I BELIEVE THE BATTERY... NOT SURE ABOUT THE DATES ON THESE AS I HAVE NO PAPERWORK... BUT THE WINDSHIELD LOOKS REAL NICE... EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD... 30 GALLON FACTORY FUEL TANK
A CUSTOM BILLET ALUMINUM AND GREY LEATHER STEERING WHEEL REALLY LOOKS SWEET AND FEELS GOOD... I USED SPACERS TO LIFT THE SEAT UP ABOUT 1.5" TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR MY TORSO TO FIT THE STEERING WHEEL COMFORT ZONE... NOW I CAN READ THE GAUGES AND JUST REST MY WRIST ON TOP OF THE WHEEL WHILE CRUISING...
THE EAGLE WHEELS APPEAR TO BE 16.5X10 AND ARE LOCKED DOWN WITH GORILLA WHEEL LOCKS
THE CUSTOM CHROMALUX SILVER PAINT BY DUPONT WAS APPLIED BY T&S AUTO IN VENTURA AS WAS THE CUSTOM FLAME JOB WHICH IS REALLY A HEAD TURNER AND ESPECIALLY SWEET IS THE GHOST FLAMES INSIDE THE FLAMES... WHICH WAS REALLY TOUGH TO PHOTOGRAPH... THERE IS A NICE ROLL UP BED COVER TO KEEP YOUR STUFF HIDDEN AND MAKES THE TRUCK MORE AERODYNAMIC... THE DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW WILL PROBABLY NEED SOME ATTENTION SOON AS IT WILL HESITATE ON ROLL UP AND NEEDS A WHACK ON THE INSIDE DOOR PANEL TO WAKE IT UP... YEAH I KNOW... I BOUGHT HER IN THIS CONDITION AND HAVE BEEN OPERATING HER THIS WAY AT LEAST A HUNDRED TIMES NOW!
THIS IS MY WORK TRUCK... I BOUGHT HER FOR A WORK TRUCK... THAT SAID... THE PAINT IS REALLY NICE ON THE CAB... EXCEPT THERE IS SOME FLAW ON THE ROOF THAT NO ONE WILL EVER SEE... AND THE BED HAS A FEW NICKS IN THE PAINT MAINLY UP BY THE RAILS AND ON THE TAILGATE... AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS... NONE OF THESE SHOW... MAKING HER A TWENTY FOOTER... BUT DON'T BE FREAKED OVER MY DISCLOSURE... THIS PAINT JOB IS A VERY SWEET HEAD TURNER AND LOOKS VERY NICE!
