thanks for lookin' this guitar has been sold!

the pickup assembly shown above was installed by the custom shop after the original owner wanted a more vintage look/sound over the original emg assembly shown below...

the custom shop made three vintage custom strats for the original owner...

this one being number 03...

you can see the original routing for emg setup

the custom shop did not install the rear spring cover custom ordered by the original ownerand therefore it does not have the screw holes associated with the cover...

the birds eye maple neck is my favorite part of this extremely nice player... and the locking tuners are an exceptional treat to playing in better tune as opposed to anything else...

this sweet strat is not #1 of 30 made... this is one of a kind!

playing thru these custom shop single coils is another extremely nice feature of this awesome player... i believe these are alnico pickups... they have so much clarity in the mid to lower range ...  stevie ray tones are right  there on the rosewood board!

custom shop certificates are up for auction on yahoo auctions... i have seen them!

and talked to fender about them and they informed me that they have stopped that activity!

it is a shame there are so many people out there that have that stuff for auction...

this is the real thing... i have never re-installed the emg pickup/guard assembly but it does come with this auction...
